Soft tissue musculoskeletal disorders refer to nonsystemic, focal pathologic syndromes involving the periarticular tissues, including muscle, tendon, ligament, fascia, aponeurosis, retinaculum, bursa, and subcutaneous tissue. These disorders are extremely common.

Crystal Arthritis
Crystalline arthropathies are a group of joint disorders caused by deposits of crystals in joints and the soft tissues around them. The most common types are gout and calcium pyrophosphate deposition (CPPD). Over time, crystalline arthropathies can lead to joint damage and occasionally kidney disease.

We can perform Corticosteroid injections in the joints/ tendon to relieve pain and swelling. Hyaluronic acid joint injections are also done for Osteoarthritis pain relief.
